The Bilkent University will host the next work packages meeting in Ankara on 21st and 22nd September 2023.

The meeting will mostly focus on WP5-Power: People and Platforms and its Task Forces (Surveillance and Resistance, Choice and Algorithms, Toxic Debates, Destructive Technologies and War, Gender in Societies).

The partners will also exchange on the lessons learnt from the finalised research work packages. WP1-Europeanisation: Lessons from Media History, WP2-Fake News: Platformization of Journalism, WP3-Hegemony: Platformization of Video, WP4-Exclusion: Platformization of Media Representations.

They will also have the opportunity to assist to an open keynote by Josef Trappel, Professor for Communication Policy and Media Economics, head of the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Salzburg.
