EUMEPLAT Community on Zenodo

To guarantee the open access to its research outcomes, EUMEPLAT has opened its own community on Zenodo, a multi-disciplinary open repository maintained by CERN.

It allows researchers to deposit research papers, data sets, research software, reports, and any other research related digital artefacts, to which a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is assigned so as to make the resource citeable.

Zenodo applies the FAIR Principles, according to which data and metadata have to be:

  • Findable
  • Accessible
  • Interoperable
  • Reusable

The EUMEPLAT project has also decided to join the Open Research Data Pilot, launched by the European Commission to improve and maximise access to and re-use of research data generated by the projects funded by the Horizon 2020 Programme.

So far, two resources are available on the EUMEPLAT Community: the first EUMEPLAT publication by Nico Carpentier from Charles University on “The European Assemblage: A Discursive-Material Analysis of European Identity, Europaneity and Europeanisation” and a preprint by Volker Grassmuck from Hans Bredow Institute entitled “Towards an Infrastructure for a Democratic Digital Public Sphere”. The Community will be constantly fed with new publications, reports and papers.

The EUMEPLAT Community is available here.
